What we collect

The survey form collects a name, an email address, an optional phone number, a town and whatever you write in the message field, plus any photographs you send us. Nothing else is collected and there is no analytics script on this site.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry, carry out the survey and keep a record of the quote. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to you, and performance of a contract once you accept a quote. We do not sell it, we do not share it, and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.

How long we keep it

Job records are kept for the length of the guarantee plus the six years the Limitation Act allows for a claim. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after twelve months.

Insurance claims

Where you ask us to document storm damage, the photographs and measurements we take may be shared with your insurer or their loss adjuster, at your direction. We do not contact an insurer about your property unless you ask us to.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Write to office@foxcott.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.

Data controller

Foxcott Roofing Ltd, Unit 6, Bar End Industrial Estate, Winchester SO23 9NP, is the data controller. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and runs no analytics. Nothing about your visit leaves your device unless you send us the form.
