Six kinds of work, done by our own team.
Each one is a way of building a roof rather than a product off a shelf. The figures below are the British Standards we work to, not marketing numbers.

Tile and slateRe-roofing
A full strip back to the rafters, rebuilt in layers. Concrete or clay tile, or natural slate, on treated battens over a breathable membrane, every tile mechanically fixed to BS 5534.

Standing seamMetal roofing
Standing seam panels on concealed clips, run full length from ridge to eave so there is no lap across the slope to leak.

RooflightsRooflights and sun tunnels
Centre-pivot and top-hung units set into the rafters, flashed with the manufacturer kit sized to your tile profile rather than sealed in with mastic.

Rainwater goodsGuttering and downpipes
Half-round, ogee or deepflow in uPVC, aluminium or cast iron, bracketed at 800 mm centres and sized to the roof area that drains into it.

Flat roofingFlat roofs, EPDM and GRP
EPDM in one sheet, GRP laid wet, or single-ply welded at the laps, over a firring that actually moves the water to an outlet.

LeadworkLeadwork and flashings
Valleys, abutments, chimneys and parapets. The parts of a roof that leak, dressed in milled lead rather than sealed with mastic.
