About us
Our own team, on your roof, every day of it.
Foxcott re-roofs and repairs homes across Hampshire. We survey it, quote it, strip it and put it back with our own people, which means there is nobody to hand the blame to. That is the point.

How it goes
Four steps, and photographs at each one.
-
Get on the roof
A free survey means somebody climbs it. We photograph the slopes, the leadwork, the valleys and the underside from inside the loft, and we send you the pictures whether you use us or not. A look from the pavement is not a survey, and a drone is not the loft.
-
Show you the quote
A written quote that says what comes off, what goes back, and what happens if the timber underneath turns out to be bad. Battens and rafter feet are the one thing nobody can price from the ground, so the allowance for them is in the quote, in writing, before you sign.
-
Strip and felt
Back to the rafters, timber made good, then felted and battened the same day. Nothing sits open overnight. The garden gets swept and run over with a magnet every evening, not just at the end of the job.
-
Stand behind it
The manufacturer guarantees the tile and we guarantee the work; the two are different documents and you get both. Ours runs ten years and it is written down.
What we will not do
-
Quote a roof from the drive
You cannot see fixings, leadwork or rotten battens from the ground. If we have not been on the roof or in the loft, we will not put a number on it.
-
Knock on your door after a storm
The outfits that follow a gale round the county leave with the deposit and no forwarding address. We were here before the storm and we will be here after it.
-
Promise what your insurer will pay
We document the damage and we will meet the loss adjuster on the scaffold. What the claim settles at is between you and the insurer, and anyone guaranteeing you an outcome is guessing.
